About me
Hi! I'm Meaghan. I became a speech-language pathologist (SLP) because communication is essential in life. We all have the desire to communicate. When I discovered this field, I was immediately drawn in to this diverse world. I hold a Teacher Of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) certificate, which has allowed me to work in various school settings. I have taken PECS training to learn more about augmentative communication. I have experience working in early intervention, preschools, elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, private practice, clinics, and home care. I have worked with clients from ages 9 months to 73 years. I have extensive experience working with children and adults with developmental disabilities such as autism spectrum disorder in schools, day habilitation sites, and residential group homes. My career allows me to share skills and techniques as well as continuously learn them. My clinical style is holistic and collaborative with family and caretakers. I believe in working together to develop a treatment plan that is functional and personalized.

Meg Kearns was my son's therapist and she was great!! She got to know him, let him lead the session, and encouraged his progress with enthusiasm. She listened to parent concerns and was quick to reply via text.

Meg is great! Very attentive and can pick up on when my daughter needs a break and is able to incorporate her break into her learning. I love the pace at which she is working with my daughter and how she focuses on her speech. She is kind and patient which is also a plus. I am very grateful to have her working with my daughter.
