Kaylee Heitz
Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.S., CCC-SLP)
About me
Hello! I'm Kaylee. I became a licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP) because I knew I wanted to choose a career that would allow me to work with individuals one-to-one. I wanted to provide them with support in some way. I love that the field of speech-language pathology is so vast! You have the option of working in a variety of settings as well as with all ranges of ages and disorder areas. I have worked in settings such as outpatient pediatrics and adults, inpatient acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, and in a 4k-12 school setting. I have completed DIR Floortime training to help engage pediatric patients in therapy. I also have completed AAC trainings such as Lamp Words for life and motor planning courses. I would describe my clinical style as client-centered, functional, family-centric, sensory integrated, and strengths-based.

Andrew was so smitten with Ms. April that he was hoping our regular sessions were going to be with her! He enjoyed that time, and I think it helped him get excited for therapy.
