About me

Hi! I'm Jourdan. I became a licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP) to support one of the most fundamental and incredible parts of being a human being, communication! It's through communication that we can make relationships, spread goodwill, and see the beauty of each person around us. What a gift to have a career where I get to empower my clients to grow in those skills. I have worked in settings such as public schools, private schools, and outpatient rehabilitation. I studied vocal pedagogy relating to the singing voice alongside my bachelor's degree in hearing and speech sciences. It has been fundamental in the creative way I approach my therapy sessions, involving music and aspects of vocal training to other areas of communication. I feel I am always learning and growing and am always excited to learn more in our field. I would describe my clinical style as holistic, client-centered, functional, individualized/personalized, family-centric, and rooted in client empowerment to create self-advocates.
