About me
Hello! I’m Andi. I became a speech-language pathologist because I am deeply fascinated by the science behind language. The ability for our brains to acquire and process language not only excites me, but drives me to stay up to date on evidence-based research regarding treatment techniques. To be a speech-language pathologist is to connect with clients and help them achieve their goals and to make an impact on the world. Learning and growing alongside my clients is one of my greatest joys thus far! I have worked in clinical settings such as non-public special education. I've presented my research findings regarding outcomes of virtual learning for students with Down syndrome at the Annual Speech-Language-Hearing Conference. I've co-led trainings for school staff on best practices for augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and gestalt language processing (GLP). I would describe my clinical style as holistic, client-centered, functional, family-centric, and strengths-based.

We are incredibly grateful for the care, creativity, and dedication that Andi brings to [our child's] speech therapy sessions. From the very beginning, Andi has gone above and beyond to make each session not only productive but genuinely engaging, thoughtfully weaving our child's] personal interests into the sessions. This personalized approach has made a world of difference. As any parent of a teenager knows, getting feedback is no small feat. So when [our child] openly acknowledges that the sessions are helpful and meaningful, we know that’s a testament to Andi’s skill and ability to connect. Andi's use of positive reinforcement has been especially impactful, helping [our child] build confidence and momentum in ways that feel authentic and empowering. We deeply appreciate the time, energy, and heart Andi puts into supporting [our child's] development. Andi's work is not just professional—it’s personal, and it shows. We couldn’t ask for a better partner on this journey.
