Hi! I’m Alenya. As a teen, I learned about the role of a speech therapist while watching The Oprah talk show. An episode aired that shared the recovery journey of a famous singer who had suffered a stroke. A vital part of his recovery was speech therapy. I became a speech therapist to help others communicate, as this is a cornerstone of what makes us human.

I’ve worked in both school settings (in-person and virtual) and pediatric settings. I’ve also completed training in Response to Intervention (RTI) and data collection, which helps me track progress and tailor therapy to each client’s needs.

I take a holistic, client-centered approach to therapy. I use routines-based practices to support meaningful carryover into everyday life and prioritize functional outcomes that matter most to each individual and their family.
