Sarah Gibbs
Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.S., CCC-SLP)
About me
Hi! I'm Sarah. I became a speech-language pathologist (SLP) in order to give back to the world and help others find their voice, just as SLPs have helped me and my children find our voices. I love using my uplifting and genuine relationship with my clients to allow them to spread their wings and soar. Becoming an SLP was one of the best decisions I ever made. I have a Master in Science degree from Nova Southeastern University. I have worked in school systems, mostly in specialized program classes with autistic and intellectually and emotionally disabled children. I also have experience working with adults in a rehabilitation setting as well as pediatrics in a private practice setting. I have a love for working with different age ranges, ability levels, and cultural-linguistic backgrounds. I have two children with autism who were previously nonspeaking. Seeing them shine every day, and grow into strong speaking communicators, has taught me a lot from the parent's side of the table as well. I would describe my clinical style as holistic, functional, individualized/personalized, family-centric, sensory integrated, and rooted in client empowerment to create self-advocates.

Other interests
I love arts and crafts! I do pour painting, resin works, and I'm currently trying to wrap my head around stained glass, haha. Spending time with my children, partner, and pets also truly makes my soul sing. I also love to fish in the lake behind my house and spend time in nature. :)
