Jillian Dunn
Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.S., CCC-SLP)
About me
Hi! I’m Jillian. I became a speech-language pathologist because I’ve always been drawn to helping people communicate in ways that feel authentic, empowering, and life-changing. I have a deep love for working with children—their curiosity, resilience, and joy make every day meaningful. Watching a child find their voice, master a new skill, or connect more confidently with the world around them is something I never take for granted. I’m passionate about continued learning so I can bring the best possible support to every family I work with. I also value the opportunity to educate caregivers and empower them with tools that make a real difference at home. At my core, I’m here because I believe communication is connection—and being able to help children and families build that connection is one of the greatest privileges of my life. I hold specialized trainings and certifications in pediatric feeding, AAC use and implementation, and am recognized as an Autism Disorder Clinical Specialist. These advanced trainings allow me to provide informed, evidence-based support tailored to each child’s unique communication and feeding needs. My clinical experience spans diverse settings, including schools (Pre-K through 8th grade), in-home therapy, and teletherapy. I take a holistic, client-centered, and highly individualized approach to therapy. By integrating routines-based and sensory-integration-informed practices, I focus on supporting meaningful carryover of skills into daily life. I also prioritize family involvement, strengths-based strategies, and functional outcomes, helping each client build confidence, independence, and effective communication skills.

Other interests
Outside of work, I’m a big believer in enjoying life’s happiest moments. I love all things Disney—especially trips to Disney World—and I’m always ready for a beach day with sunshine and good company. I enjoy traveling to new places, learning about different cultures, and finding little experiences that broaden my perspective. At home, you’ll usually find me relaxing with my fiancé and our English bulldog, Millie, who keeps us endlessly entertained. I also have a lifelong love for soccer and enjoy both coaching and playing whenever I can!
