About me

Hello! I'm Rebecca. I became a licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP) in 2001 because I wanted to make a positive impact on people’s lives. Working as a camp counselor during my high school summers, I discovered how much I loved working with children. I just knew I would follow in my mom’s footsteps and become a teacher. When I began college, I was set to major in elementary education, until one of my roommates introduced me to her major... communication disorders. It was then I realized becoming an SLP would allow me to work with individuals of all ages, in a more individualized and personal way. I love knowing that I am making a difference in someone's life, by helping them communicate with their world. I have worked in a skilled nursing facility, home health, private practice, teletherapy, and elementary and middle schools.

Ms Rebecca knows exactly how to motivate [my child]. She gets him to work so hard during his session and we are seeing incredible results!

This is best for my autistic child. She loves video chat and being in her own space. I am also able to participate after work hours.

Rebecca was very personable with [child] who was a little shy at first. He opened right up to her and started chatting away!

I love my daughter's therapist. She's very kind and patient. She really makes an effort to do things that my daughter enjoys to keep her engaged and make therapy fun while she works instead of stressful. I can already see improvement with my daughter's abilities, and my daughter loves speech because it's fun for her.
