About me

Hi! I'm Meaghan. I became a speech-language pathologist because communication is essential in life. We all have the desire to communicate. When I discovered this field, I was immediately drawn in to this diverse world. I received my license in April 2008. I hold a Teacher Of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) certificate, which has allowed me to work in various school settings. I have taken PECS training to learn more about augmentative communication. I have experience working in early intervention, preschools, elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, private practice, clinics, and home care. I have worked with clients from ages 9 months to 73 years. I have extensive experience working with children and adults with developmental disabilities such as autism spectrum disorder in schools, day habilitation sites, and residential group homes. My career allows me to share skills and techniques as well as continuously learn them. My clinical style is holistic and collaborative with family and caretakers. I believe in working together to develop a treatment plan that is functional and personalized.

Meagan did excellent work with our daughter. Her engagement and progress soared with Meagan's help. Our daughter went from complaining about attending therapy to not wanting to stop! Thank you for helping her get over this hurdle! We're really grateful.

Our son has loved working with Meg! He has made so much progress! I was initially worried about doing speech therapy virtually, but our son has thrived working with Meg and loves attending speech for every session!

Meaghan is amazing. Her ability to connect with our son is unmatched and second to none.

I was skeptical how virtual speech therapy would be beneficial, or how my son would connect with a therapist, but Meaghan was really excellent. By the end of our time with Expressable, my son was looking forward to sessions and was fully engaged the whole time. I can't say enough good things about Meaghan, I would recommend her to anyone!
