About me

Hi! I'm Jessica, a licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP). A family member who was diagnosed with selective mutism inspired me to explore the career of speech-language pathology. I have a strong desire to help individuals improve their communication skills and overcome challenges. This field is always changing and pushing me to seek new knowledge to become a well-rounded SLP. I have worked in the pediatric private practice setting. I have a certification in autism spectrum disorder that I obtained in 2023. I am currently taking the Natural Language Acquisition (NLA)/Gestalt Language Processing course to become NLA trained. I would describe my clinical style as client-centered, functional, individualized/personalized, and family-centric.
