About me

Hello! I'm Alyssa. I became an speech-language pathologist (SLP) in 2019 because I believe that success is measured through small steps and this is a field that celebrates each and every small step that an individual makes. The individuality of each treatment plan, each goal and each person's definition of progress is something that I enjoy being a part of. I enjoy being able to make a difference and support individuals in their everyday lives! Communication is around us 24/7 and being able to help an individual communicate in a way that works for them is what I am passionate about. I've worked in a variety of clinical settings such as schools, pediatric clinics, home health, and adult dayhab facilities. I would describe my clinical style as client-centered, functional, individualized/personalized, strengths-based, and sensory integrated.

Alyssa was fantastic. She was patient, positive, and made a good connection with my son. She was able to identify the issues we need to correct and I feel confident moving forward with her.
