About me

Hi! I'm Alexa. I became a licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP) in 2018. I became an SLP to improve the quality of life of individuals by giving them their ideal means to communicate. Being a neurodivergent SLP, I know how hard it can be to communicate feelings and engage with others socially. I strive to give all of my clients a safe space to work on their communication skills free of judgement! I'm currently completing my Autism specialty certification through PESI, inc. I have also given in-service presentations regarding topics such as patient advocacy, AAC integration, and supervision of graduate students with disabilities. I have worked in settings such as pediatric outpatient clinics, schools, and hospitals. I would describe my clinical style as holistic, functional, strengths-based, sensory integrated, and rooted in client empowerment to create self-advocates.
