Toni Lynn Paccione
Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.A., CCC-SLP)
Hi! I’m Toni. I became a speech-language pathologist because I have always enjoyed helping others. After I worked with my first client at Montclair State, I knew I was meant to be a speech-language pathologist.
Throughout my career, I’ve continued to expand my knowledge through specialized training and ongoing professional development, including PROMPT training and a variety of continuing education courses. I’ve also had the opportunity to mentor future clinicians, supervising more than 15 undergraduate and graduate students over the past 35 years and teaching the graduate course Language Disorders in School-Aged Children at Montclair State University.
My clinical experience spans diverse settings, including schools, clinics, early intervention, and university clinics.
I would describe my approach to therapy as client-centered, with an emphasis on family involvement and functional outcomes to help each person build confidence, independence, and lifelong self-advocacy skills.
