About me

I am an avid hiker and enjoy learning new skills, like painting and playing the ukelele. I have four very interesting children, a dog, cat, and hedgehog. I was originally a physics major, but I decided to pursue a career in Speech Language Pathology after attending therapy sessions with one of my children.

Patience and kindness and extremely knowledgeable

Rachel is excellent at addressing all of my concerns and giving extra practice to reinforce lessons learned.

Rachel was an amazing and very caring therapist. Keeping a 3 year old engaged over a computer screen week after week is very difficult and there were some sessions that felt wasted due to lack of engagement but no fault of the speech therapist who did her very best to engage our daughter. She was very helpful and went above and beyond to advise and guide us. Our daughter made good progress but her progress seemed to plateau due to the limitations of the platform, not the therapist. Overall a positive experience that ran its course.

Easy to talk to, made me feel comfortable, and was very knowledgeable

N.G./Oct 27, 2021

I like that she was willing to work with him no matter what he do during the call, especially when he got distracted and wanted to talk and show her his toys

J.G./Aug 12, 2021

She was very personable and was patient and encouraging with my kids.

Rachel was so great! She was patient with (my son), adaptive when he didn't want to do a certain game or book, she was able to engage a very active 2 year old with great variety of options. She was knowledgeable of different tools, apps, games and ideas to practice with our son during the week. We can't thank her enough.

A.S./Jun 23, 2021

Patient, positive, and was able to suggest endless strategies to get over each hurdle that came up

A.K./Jun 8, 2021

Encouraging, helps kids to self evaluate and self correct

C.P./May 25, 2021

She offers more than speech therapy, it's obvious she cares about (my son). I absolutely love how she takes time outside of our sessions to prepare for the next session; from building props for story time, to finding relevant stories with concepts and morals to share.

Rachel was wonderful with (my son). They really made a connection. Rachel got to know my son and his interests and incorporated those things into her sessions which kept him engaged. He is sad that he will not be working with Rachel anymore but also so proud of his accomplishments.

She is kind, patient, intelligent
