About me

Greetings! I’m Lacey and I currently reside in North Carolina with my husband and two young children. I’ve been a practicing Speech-Language Pathologist for 12 years and have provided services primarily within the home health, school, and tele-therapy settings. I’m experienced working with a range of populations (e.g. infant to adult) experiencing delays and/or disorders involving: articulation/phonological skills, speech fluency, cognitive communication, receptive/expressive language, pragmatic/social language, feeding skills, and augmentative and alternative communication. I strive to provide my clients and their families with strategies and techniques to support every day situations while working toward larger goals. I also strive to not only be the teacher, but the student, in each relationship in order to grow as a clinician and a human being. I find fulfillment in trying to meet people where they are, separate from any agenda, making sure to listen and provide support and care to the best of my ability; and to always prioritize one’s mental and emotional well-being and self-care.

Other interests

I’m super family-oriented and would always prefer being with the ones I love despite the place or activity! My husband and kids are my priority and my ‘free time’ usually involves them! I love going to the mountains and the beach or pretty much ANYTHING outdoors! I love getting on the floor with my kids and playing pretend or rough housing because I’ve always been a kid at heart myself. I enjoy family game nights, singing, logic/brain puzzles as well as random decorating and cooking apps on my phone!
