About me

Hello! I'm Eric. I became a licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP) in 2014. I wanted a career that combined helping others with science and healthcare, and after exploring a number of fields in college I realized that speech-language pathology offered that opportunity. I've worked in settings such as hospitals, acute rehabilitations, outpatient adults and pediatrics, skilled nursing facilities (SNF), and schools. My certifications include VitalStim, PROMPT, SPEAK OUT!, Beckman Oral Motor, BLS, ACLS, and Mental Health First Aid. I have also completed training in AACs, primarily with Lingraphica. In graduate school, I was a teaching assistant for neuroscience and clinical practice courses. I've also supervised CFs. I would describe my clinical style as holistic, functional, individualized/personalized, family-centric, and strengths-based.
