About me

I have been a speech language pathologist for 18 years, and during that time, I’ve had the wonderful experience of working in many different settings, including hospitals, outpatient clinics, schools and rehabilitation facilities, and geographic locations, including Hawaii, California, and Ireland. I have found it so rewarding to work with people of a wide variety of ages and backgrounds, and help them improve their ability to express their thoughts and ideas. A yoga practitioner for over 20 years, I completed training to become a certified yoga instructor in 2016, and this has inspired me to approach speech therapy from a more holistic perspective. I include mindfulness exercises and breath work in many of my therapy sessions and have seen it have positive impact on speech production, voice function and cognitive skills. I am now living in my home state of Texas, with my husband and two-year-old daughter.

Very kind and patient. She understood that our toddler wasn’t interested in interacting with an iPad and gave us more hands on activities to spark language
