About me

Hi there! Thank you for stopping by! I've been molded to become a Speech Language Pathologist from a very young age. I have several family members diagnosed with various communication challenges from Autism, to being post stroke, to having a partial laryngectomy and more. They all needed speech therapy and I witnessed firsthand how effective speech therapy can be. I also saw how having a family member with a communication challenge can impact a family. I've had extensive experience working with individuals across the lifespan in Manhattan's premiere medical institutions including: Mount Sinai, Mount Sinai West, Mount Sinai St. Luke's and New York Presbyterian Hospital. I've also supervised and taught graduate students at Columbia University's speech pathology clinic. I've presented nationally regarding topics of: social skill solutions, effective communication tips for any environment, vocal hygiene practices, caregiver support, new diagnosis myths debunked, and compensatory strategies for adults with various communication challenges. I became a Speech Language Pathologist because I'm passionate about helping everyone express their thoughts and be understood. I firmly believe that it's never too late to improve one's communication skills! I meet my clients where they are at and try to elevate their skills with an individualized plan. And most importantly, I try to keep speech therapy fun and light! I hope I can be part of your speech therapy journey!

How comfortable she made me feel

Annalise was amazing!!! She made me feel super comfortable from day one. Easy to talk to & made me feel so much more confident in such a short time. I looked forward to our sessions each week. Every week I felt like I was growing a little more in speech & it helped with my practical everyday life. I had problems with speech my whole life, wasn’t the worst but not the best and I’m still not but I’m getting there and made me realize to simply believe more in myself, to be more confident. Life changing! Thank you so much & I appreciate it.
